How could she? Debs has gone all Hi-NRG on this painfully dull record and I shall never forgive her. Mr Stock Aitken Waterman (funny name that) is responsible for this piece of dance floor action but it's the wrong title for real Hi-NRG. Shouldn't it be called "In Love With Yours, Love" or "Men, Men Men" or something? Possibly the blandest thing she's ever done. (Andy Strickland, Record Mirror, May 9, 1987)
As soon as this started off, the word 'Europop' came straight into my head. I'm a great fan of Debbie Harry's - she's a wonderful human being and I've a great amount of respect for her but I think she can come up with something better than this.
The 'B' side is quite interesting because it's a French version of "French Kissin". I've never really been able to work out whether she means French people kissing in America or a tongue down the throat job! But she sings the 'French Kissin, chorus bit in English - maybe it's a little hard for French people to 'comprend' why their style is any different from anyone else's.
