Scotland's Alone Again Or recently guested on tour with The Associates. They must have raised a few eyebrows with their hard-edged funk. Their bassist is obviously a big fan of
Level 42's Mark King, but unlike most bands of their ilk, Alone Again Or have the knack of writing material which holds the listener's attention to the end. That said, it's unlikely to get a second spin on my turntable. (
