Danny Wilson is in fact three men, and here they are proclaiming their love for a fourth man. Well, that's Dundee for you. Actually this is really very good indeed, a fine thoughtful pop song in which "Danny" wishes his beloved pal all the best for his adventure down to London and promises not to laugh at him in the street if it all goes horribly wrong (as these things tend to do). Quite poignant in fact, with a nice understated backing. (
